Kaon Aerogel Detector: already machined and pre-assembled at CUA!

Last News

  • Alex presented the project he worked during the Summer at the DNP/2014.
  • EIC R&D proposal due 27 June 2014
  • 10 PWO crystals from SICCAS arrived at JLab and are being tested. NPS prototype machined and assembled at JLab.
  • JFCC orders for n=1.011 and n=1.015 aeerogel tiles arrived and are being assembled into tray. Cosmic tests ongoing.
  • Initial optical tests of JFCC n=1.015 aerogel tiles with spectrometer completed.
